Privacy Policy
Effective May 1, 2026. Plain English wherever possible.
We collect only what we need to register your domain and run your account. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
To register a domain, the .et registry requires registrant details: full name, email, phone number, and organization. We also store account information, payment receipts (not card numbers), and basic usage analytics to improve our service.
How we use it
Your registrant details are submitted to the .et registry to create or maintain your domain. Your account details are used to authenticate you and deliver concierge updates and credentials.
- Registry submissions
- Service emails (registration progress, credentials, renewals)
- Aggregate, anonymized analytics
WHOIS privacy
Free WHOIS privacy is enabled by default on every domain we register. Public WHOIS lookups will not expose your personal contact details.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time from the Account section of your dashboard, or by emailing privacy@etdomains.tech.
Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and least-privilege access for our team. Credentials are delivered via one-time, encrypted links.
